This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) applies to the collection, use and disclosure of an individual customer’s Personal Data (hereinafter defined) arising from goods and/or services offered by Parent Teacher Learning Center Pte Ltd.

3. Where is the information stored?
3.1 Databases:
3.1.1. Databases are used to store and manage data. Some could contain personal data, and our company has put in place adequate protection for these databases.
3.1.2. The databases are stored in the most secured network zone and housed in a local data center which has the necessary compliance and certifications.
3.1.3. The different types of personal data collected are reviewed and are stored in encrypted form.
4. How do we protect your information?
4.1. We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information.
4.2. We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.
4.3. After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.
5. Tracking technologies
5.1. Cookies
5.1.1. A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer tied to information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site.
5.1.2. We use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart and understand and save your preferences for future visits.

5.2. Facebook Pixels
5.2.1. We may from time to time use certain Facebook Business Tools such as the Facebook Pixel.
5.2.2. This tool allows our company to keep track of what users do after they see or click on a Facebook advertisement and enables us to monitor the effectiveness of Facebook ads for purposes of statistics and market research.
5.2.3. The collected data remains anonymous, and our company cannot see the personal data of any individual user.
5.2.4. However, the collected data is saved and processed by Facebook. Facebook may be able to connect the data with your Facebook account and use the data for their own advertising purposes and in accordance with Facebook’s Data Use Policy.
5.2.5. Facebook has ultimate control of the information gathered through the Facebook Business Tools and communications. You can opt-out of Facebook’s use of cookies and Facebook Pixel through settings on your Facebook Account.
6. Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
6.1. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

8. Personal Data Protection Act (Singapore)
8.1. The use of individuals’ personal data by organizations in Singapore is governed by the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (the “PDPA”). The Personal Data Protection Commission (“PDPC”) was established to enforce the PDPA and promote awareness of protection of personal data in Singapore.
8.2. The Protection Obligation under section 24 of the PDPA requires organizations to make reasonable security arrangement to protect personal data in their possession or under their control to prevent unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks. Organizations may also refer to Chapter 17 (The Protection Obligation) of the PDPC’s Advisory Guidelines on Key Concepts in the PDPA for more information.
