This is a great resource to introduce the Solar System. The felt mat is double-lined and stitched to show the asteroid belt, galaxy and comet. Comes with 8 manipulative planets and planet earth comes with a non-rotatable moon. After your child has learned the order of the planets, he/she can have a great extension lesson to discover the planets by sequence size or by distance.
Size: approx. 47cm (H) x 56cm (W) for the mat, while planets vary in size between 1-6cm.
